Choose Aerial Drone & Python or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) most mornings, then dive into VEX V5RC Robotics or our Science Fair series most afternoons — a five-week, hands-on summer experience for grades 1-11.

Most mornings, campers choose between mastering Aerial Drone & Python or training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). After lunch, the afternoon rotates week by week through VEX V5RC robotics and our Science Fair series — see the full week-by-week breakdown above.

A 5-Day Flight & Coding Curriculum

This 5-day curriculum runs as the full-day program Jul 27-31 (Grades 1-8), then continues as the 9am-12pm morning option throughout August (Grades 5-11). All drones are provided.

    Certified Drone Pilot
    Getting started with CoDrone EDU & Python, first flight, pre/post-flight checklist, TRUST Drone Pilot Certificate, and flight log
  2. Day 2
    Program Basic Movements
    Flight movements: roll, pitch, throttle, and yaw
  3. Day 3
    Sensors & Smart Flight
    Using the bottom and front range sensors for autonomous flight
  4. Day 4
    Piloting for Skills
    Mission strategy for skills challenges; tracking speed and battery data
  5. Day 5
    Teamwork & Autonomous Flight
    Team piloting and autonomous flight — 2025-2026 mission through Aug 11, then the new 2026-2027 mission
VEX V5RC Deep Dive · Aug 4 - 14

A Structured 9-Day Robotics Journey

During the Aug 4-14 afternoons (Grades 5-11), students move through drive train, foundation, arm building, and functions in a clear progression, building confidence and teamwork day by day.

Days 5-9: Design, build, and program a functional arm
Hands-on building, testing, and iteration

During the Aug 17-28 afternoons (Grades 5-11), campers learn to think and work like scientists — from choosing a project to presenting their conclusions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need prior experience?

No! Drone piloting & Python coding, BJJ, robotics, and Science Fair are all designed for all experience levels. Our instructors will work with everyone from complete beginners to experienced students.

What if my child only wants to do half-day?

For Aug 4-28, we offer flexible scheduling! You can choose morning-only (Drone & Python or BJJ) or afternoon-only (Robotics/Science Fair, depending on the week) sessions. Pricing is adjusted accordingly. Note: Jul 27-31 (Grades 1-8) only runs as a single 1pm-4pm afternoon session.

Are meals provided?

Lunch is not included, but participants should bring their lunch. We provide snacks and water throughout the day. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions.

What about safety?

Safety is our top priority! All instructors are certified, equipment is regularly inspected, and we maintain a safe learning environment with proper protocols.
